The HP Indigo electrostatic ink container for digital printing is another example of flexible thinking outside of our conventional product lines. Our client approached us looking for an aerosol can, which we ended up upgrading with an ingenuous piston, a much more efficient packaging than conventional containers. Made of metal, it can withstand higher internal pressure than plastic, without changing shape, which prevents ink from sticking to the walls and being wasted. Replacement is easy and requires no tools. Overall printing production line down-time is shorter. All of this combines into lower costs and higher profitability throughout the entire chain.
